About DIgSILENT Ibérica

DIgSILENT Ibérica was established in June 2008 to represent the products of DIgSILENT GmbH group in Spain and Portugal, with offices located in Madrid. DIgSILENT GmbH provides world-best power system analysis software and consultancy services to the power industry.

Our main interest is to provide a closer support to our customers as well as a wide range of services in the area of power systems:

• Development of Grid Code tools:
  • DIgSILENT GridCode: This tool is designed in response to the need to verify whether a conventional or renewable power plant is compliant with local Grid Code interconnection requirements on basis of generating unit tests. More information about the product can be found here.
  • Web Application for Grid Code tracking: Our Grid Code information, country by country, has been stored in a database, accessible through a web application. Registered customers may access to the application by clicking here. For more information please contact us: info@digsilentiberica.es.
• Development of Smartgrid algorithms to extract useful information from huge amounts of registered and stored data in the era of Big Data.
• Programming of user-defined models in DIgSILENT Simulation Language (DSL) for transient stability studies, scripts development in DIgSILENT Programming Language (DPL), customization of reports and tables, programming of PowerFactory interfaces, OPC applications, etc.

DIgSILENT Ibérica is also involved in national and international standardization activities with experts in the following working groups:

• IEC 61400-27-2: "Wind power plants - Part 27-2: Electrical simulation models - Wind power plants".
