Summer generator testing experience in Val d'Aran

Publicado el 15 de Junio de 2016

DIgSILENT Ibérica continues with testing and model validation activities. This time the Iberian team went to a power station located in Val d'Aran, one of the most beautiful places in the Pyrenees.

The generator testing activities are in the frame of the new resolution published by the government in December 2015, stablishing the criteria to allow renewables and CHP taking part in power systems service markets.

According to the Operating Procedure P.O.09 (Procedimiento de Operación), power plants must provide a validated dynamic simulation model to the Transmission System Operator (Red Eléctrica de España), to demonstrate its adequacy and reliability.

Highly recommended for simulation engineers to visit Val d'Aran at any moment of the year and enjoy such a beauty experience!
