The IEEE EnergyCon conference is organized this week in Leuven (Belgium). A special session on the evolutions of offshore and HVDC grids is in agenda, organized in collaboration with the FP7 project Medow and the Friends of the Supergrid.

Mr. Frank Schettler, from Siemens AG is presenting the status of the CENELEC TC8X Working Group 06 on the 7th April 2016. His presentation is called "Standardization Guiding the Way to European HVDC Grids" and will take place between 11:00-13:00h, during the slot "HVDC Grid prospects in Europe" moderated by Mr. MacLeod (PB & FOSG).

DIgSILENT Ibérica is member since April 2013 of the CLC/TC8X/WG06, working group created with the scope of elaborating standards for HVDC Grid Systems on a European level.
